JEFFERSON CITY — An inmate at the Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City has died in custody.
According to the Missouri Department of Corrections, 35-year-old Harley Holt was pronounced dead at University Hospital in Columbia at approximately 7:30 Tuesday evening.
Holt was serving a four year sentence for two counts of failure to register as a sex offender in Greene and Howell Counties, according to a release issued by the department. No other details about Holt's death were made available. An autopsy will be conducted. ..Source.. by Dan Claxton
